Requirements
We recruit Junior House Officers and Senior House Officers using a merit-based selection process which includes assessment of:
- your curriculum vitae via an online application
- 2 referee reports
- interview.
Education
JHO and SHO have focused education, grand rounds, journal clubs and unit tutorials with hands-on practical sessions.

Employment conditions
- Award conditions apply – 76 working hours per fortnight, with a minimum of 10 hours off between shifts
- Five weeks annual leave for Interns, Junior House Officers (JHOs) and Senior House Officers (SHOs)
- One week of Professional Development leave for JHOs/SHOs
