The full program will be released late\u00a0\u00a02017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keynote Speaker &#8211; Prof Fliss E M Murtagh FRCP PhD MSc MRCGP MBBS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>QUT Visiting Researcher<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prof Fliss Murtagh qualified in medicine in the UK and is now the Professor in Palliative Care, Hull York Medical School, Associate Director, Wolfson Centre for Palliative Care Research, University of Hull and Visiting Professor of Palliative Care, King\u2019s College London. She is experienced in providing palliative care to a wide range of people with far advanced disease and their families, and has published extensively on palliative and end-of-life care needs, especially for older people and those with advanced kidney disease.<\/p>\n<p>She is experienced in development and use of tools measuring outcomes, especially development of the Integrated Palliative care (or Patient) Outcome Scale (see www.pos-pal.org).
