8 December 2017<br \/>\n<b>Venue:<\/b> Artspace and Atrium, Royal Brisbane and Women&#8217;s Hospital<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><h3><em><strong>Our people, our places<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>The inaugural Royal Brisbane and Women&#8217;s Hospital Art Awards are a creative opportunity for staff, patients and the wider community to celebrate and commemorate the RBWH\u2019s people and places over the past 150 years.<\/p>\n<p>The awards are open to the public including: current and former staff and patients, the South East Queensland community, other Hospital and Health Services, and professional and novice artists.<\/p>\n<p>Artists are invited to submit artwork under the following four mediums:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>painting or drawing<\/li>\n<li>photography<\/li>\n<li>sculpture<\/li>\n<li>animation\/videography (max. one-minute duration)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entries will be exhibited over five weeks at the RBWH, with winners announced at an awards presentation night in November.<\/p>\n<p>The following prizes will be awarded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First place (each medium)\u2014$500 each<\/li>\n<li>Highly Commended (each medium)\u2014$300 each<\/li>\n<li>RBWH Staff Award (any medium)\u2014$300<\/li>\n<li>Executive Director Award (any medium)\u2014$300<\/li>\n<li>150 Years of Care Award (any medium)\u2014$300<\/li>\n<li>People\u2019s Choice Award\u2014$300<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h3>Awards presentation night<\/h3>\n<p>All artists are invited to attend the awards presentation night, which will be held on Tuesday 28 November 2017 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.metronorth.health.qld.gov.au\/rbwh\/maps-and-directions\">Royal Brisbane and Women&#8217;s Hospital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_4 1_4 fusion-one-fourth fusion-column-last rhs-col contact-us\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;width:25%;width:calc(25% - ( ( 4% ) * 0.25 ) );\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h2>1 November &#8211;
