This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reserved disability parking bays in car parks<\/li>\n<li>a dedicated drop off zone at the front of the hospital<\/li>\n<li>telephones in Emergency and main entrance with a direct line to Taxi companies<\/li>\n<li>wheelchairs at the main entrance. Please ask a front desk volunteer who is available from Monday\u2013Friday 8.00am\u20134.00pm<\/li>\n<li>all floors across the hospital are accessible by lift and have braille buttons and audible level announcements<\/li>\n<li>disabled toilets are located on every floor. Please ask staff if you need further directions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-menu-anchor\" id=\"advance-care\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h2>Advance care planning<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.qld.gov.au\/clinical-practice\/guidelines-procedures\/patient-safety\/end-of-life\/advance-care-planning\">Advance care planning<\/a>\u00a0is a process of planning for your future health and personal care so your values, beliefs and preferences are made known. This can help to guide decision-making at a future time if you cannot make or communicate your decisions.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-menu-anchor\" id=\"chaplains\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h2>Chaplains<\/h2>\n<p>Chaplains offer spiritual support and pastoral care to patients, visitors and staff. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an accepting, compassionate, respectful and attentive presence to people of all or no particular faith<\/li>\n<li>help and support in times of stress or crisis<\/li>\n<li>prayers and the Sacraments (e.g. communion) where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you wish to arrange the services of a minister of religion please ask the ward staff. For more information, or if you would like to speak to a Chaplain, please call (07)&nbsp;3883&nbsp;7878.
