Gift shop<\/h2>\n

Baby gifts, toys, books and gift cards.\u00a0The Redcliffe Hospital Auxiliary Inc. gift shop is in the main foyer opposite the Pharmacy and is open from\u00a0Monday-Friday\u00a0<\/span>8.00am-4.00pm . The shop is the primary source of fundraising for the hospital and relies totally on community donations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Information desks are located in public areas to help you find your way around the hospital.\u00a0 Here you will find our volunteers who will help you with directions and if needed, take you to your destination.

Toilets<\/h2>\n

General and disabled toilets are located on every floor of the hospital for patient and visitor use. Baby change rooms are located in Outpatients department and Maternity. Please ask staff for the toilet closest to you.<\/p>\n

ATM<\/h2>\n

We don\u2019t have an ATM on site. The closest ATM would be at the local shopping centre approximately 260 metres away.<\/p>\n

Near the hospital<\/h2>\n

There are a range of facilities close to the hospital. This includes:<\/p>\n

  • Kippa-Ring Shopping Centre<\/li>\n
  • IGA<\/li>\n
  • Caf\u00e9 and takeaway options in the surrounding suburb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>

    Public payphones<\/h2>\n

    Public telephones are located on the ground floor in the Emergency Department and at the main entrance.<\/p>\n

    Chapel<\/h2>\n

    The Chapel is open to people of all faiths or for those needing a quiet place of reflection and is located near the Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Unit.\u00a0Chaplains offer spiritual support and pastoral care to patients, visitors and staff. This includes:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • an accepting, compassionate, respectful and attentive presence to people of all or no particular faith<\/li>\n
    • Help and support in times of stress or crisis<\/li>\n
    • Prayers and the Sacraments (eg communion) where appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If you wish to arrange the services of a minister of religion please ask the ward staff. Bibles are available on request.\u00a0For more information or would like to speak to a chaplain phone (07) 3883 7878.<\/p>\n

      Justice of the Peace<\/h2>\n

      A Justice of the Peace is available for patients, visitors and staff. Appointments are not required.

      Lost property<\/h2>\n

      If you leave any personal property behind when you leave hospital, items of value will be forwarded to admissions and security. Call\u00a0(07) 3883 7777 for lost property enquiries.<\/p>\n

      Lodge<\/h2>\n

      We have short-stay accommodation flats on the Redcliffe Hospital campus to make sure families and carers who travel long distances have a place to stay. The lodge assists parents of babies in special care, parents of children in the paediatric ward, families and carers of the critically ill or palliative care patients.\u00a0Accommodation is subject to availability.\u00a0 To book a room, contact the hospital coordinator who will provide you a form to complete.<\/p>\n
