Cardiology publications

The research conducted by Cardiology Clinical Research Centre (CCRC)  has contributed to the worldwide bank of knowledge and rapid evolution of technology in improving the longevity and quality of patients’ lives. In the last five years, the design and development of various percutaneous approach aortic valve,  mitral clip and shunt devices implantation to treat patients with severe aortic stenosis, severe mitral regurgitation and diastolic heart failure have been approved for commercial application. This advancement is becoming the new global standard of care.

Clinical outcomes for the various valves have recently been published with promising results in terms of paravalvular regurgitation and accurate valve positioning. Another exciting step forwarding is the utilisation of ground breaking technology to monitor heart failure patients remotely within the Asia-Pacific region.
