Advanced Life Support- Level 1<\/strong><\/h1><\/h1><\/div>

xxOur courses will provide you with the skills for managing the deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest including airway\u00a0 management, basic life support, safe defibrillation and life threatening arrhythmias.<\/p>\n

All courses are held at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Who is eligible for training?<\/h2>\n

Medical Officers, Nurses and Paramedics<\/p>\n

Which course should I choose?<\/h2>\n

Level 1<\/strong>\u00a0courses\u00a0are for those clinicians who want general competence in airway management and basic life support for a deteriorating patient and cardiac arrest.\u00a0 Suitable if you normally are part of team rather than the lead.<\/p>\n

Level 2<\/strong>\u00a0courses are for those clinicians who are likely to lead the team in an arrest and be responsible for decisions regarding life threatening arrhythmias. \u00a0 Particularly suitable for doctors and nurses working in critical care areas or in resuscitation\/medical emergency teams and paramedics.<\/p>\n

Metro North Hospital and Health Service Staff\u00a0ONLY<\/strong>: $250 [GST Incl]<\/div>\n
All other participants: $500 [GST Incl]<\/div>\n

ALS Level 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n
