New partnership helps patients keep type 1 diabetes in check

Football coach Stuart Bennett is fit and healthy, so when he needed a bit of help to get his diabetes under control he didn’t want to take a trip to the Emergency Department.

Thanks to a partnership between QAS and Metro North Diabetes Service, Stuart was able to get straight into a specialist clinic without a ride in the ambulance.
