Development timeline
The Herston Quarter redevelopment has commenced. The transformation of Herston Quarter will take up to 10 years to complete and will be managed across several stages.

| Early 2017 – Late 2020 | Stage 3 – Design and construction of the new public health facility Design of the new public health facility. Construction of the new public health facility- the specialist rehabilitation and ambulatory care centre to commence in early 2018. |
| Mid 2017 – Late 2018 | Stage 4 – New car park Design and construction of 1100 space Northern car park. Construction to start early 2018. Demolition of Bramston Terrace car park follows completion and opening of the Northern car park. |
| Early 2018 – Late 2020 | Stages 5-7 – Heritage precinct revitalisation Multiple design and construction phases across heritage buildings. |
