Master plan

Australian Unity has prepared an indicative master plan for Herston Quarter.

To streamline the development process, the Herston Quarter site was announced as a Priority Development Area (PDA) by the Queensland Government on 18 November 2016. On 7 August 2017, Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) released the proposed development scheme, the planning document that will guide future development of the Herston Quarter site. EDQ conducted a 30 business day public notification period, for all interested parties to view the proposed development scheme and make a written submission, between 7 August and 18 September 2017. Australian Unity’s master plan will need to consider the proposed development scheme and any amendments by EDQ to the scheme.
