Indigenous Sexual Health
The Indigenous Sexual Health Services provide culturally appropriate support, education and prevention services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities on sexual health issues, including:
- treatment access
- education
- prevention
- transport and client support for specialised medical appointments
- service referrals
- community engagement
- condom distribution
- health promotion, focused around sexually transmitted infections (STI) and blood borne viruses (BBV)
- men’s and women’s business
- men’s and women’s reproductive health
- cultural supports
- home visits
- contact tracing.
