    PEP

    If you have been exposed to HIV in the past 72 hours, you may be eligible for post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). PEP is a 4-week course of a daily tablet that can be taken after possible exposure to HIV. PEP can be access from any Public Emergency Department or Sexual Health Clinic.

    PrEP

    Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis or PrEP is a daily tablet that can be taken by a HIV negative person to prevent HIV. PrEP is a great option for any who is at high risk of acquiring HIV as it is very effective at preventing HIV. PrEP does not prevent against other STIs or pregnancy.

    PrEP can be access through our service, online and with any General Practitioner (GP). It is recommended that long term PrEP be sourced through a GP.
