Brave Bec’s push to get the country talking organ donation

Prince Charles Hospital patient Bec Craven spoke to Channel 7’s Sunrise this morning about the need for all Australians to have a conversation with their loved ones about organ donation.

Under the expert care of Dr Javorsky and his hardworking team, Bec is waiting for a heart transplant after a common cold left her with heart failure over two years ago.

More than 1600 Australians just like Bec are waiting on the organ transplant list, yet Australia ranks 20th in the world for organ donation.

Bec tells her story to raise much needed awareness on this important issue and we thank her for sharing it with the nation.
