The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) will host its 24th annual Healthcare Symposium from 12-16 October, 2015.

The theme for this week-long event is Integrity and Integration in Healthcare Delivery

The Symposium offers an opportunity for healthcare professionals, researchers and medical educators to join colleagues from across south east Queensland to share a broad range of research, education and clinical challenges that reflect the increasing complexity of healthcare delivery.

International guest will be Professor Gretchen Brodnicki, Dean for Faculty and Research Integrity, Harvard Medical School, who will deliver the inaugural Professor Philip Walker Memorial lecture.

Other session highlights include major advances made through military deployment over the past 100 years, Surgery and Surgery Research, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health and Wellbeing, integration of new technologies in healthcare, the annual Clinico pathological conference and the MOOT: Medicine and Media, friend or foe?

The event will be held at the RBWH Education Centre, Butterfield Street, Herston.
