The future is looking much clearer for Jaimee Reynolds as a result of a treatment now being offered by Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Ophthalmology Department.
RBWH infectious diseases expert Professor James McCarthy and his collaborators – including three research groups from QIMR Berghofer – will receive more than $20 million over the next five years for research into malaria, Group A Streptococcus and parasitic worm infections.
Members of the newly accredited two-year pharmacy resident program at RBWH have hit the ground running, including 22-year-old Danielle Silvestro, who relocated from Townsville to take up the opportunity.
