    • Home Dialysis (Stafford)
    • Rehabilitation and Clinical Neuropsychology Memory Clinic (Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitation Unit)
    • Thoracic (breathing, lung and sleep issues)
    • Tinnitus
    • Gender Services.

    Common reasons for referral

    • Increased anxiety, depression and anger
    • Post-traumatic stress
    • Medically-unexplained physical symptoms
    • Phobias preventing treatment
    • Dealing with serious or chronic illness or disease
    • Psychological issues related to pregnancy and parenthood

    How to access this service

    No external referrals are accepted for this service other than the Gender Service. You can only access these other services when you are staying in hospital or if you have been referred by a hospital clinician. Inpatient referrals can expect a response during business hours. Outpatient referrals will be seen at the first mutually-convenient time available.

    What to bring

    Each time you visit us
    • Your Medicare card
    • Private health insurance card (if you have one)
    • Health Care Card and/or concession card (if you have one)
    • Current medications (prescription, over the counter and herbal medicine)
    • Relevant x-rays, scans or any other test results or reports
    • Glasses, hearing and mobility aids
    For an outpatient or clinic appointment
    • Your appointment letter
    • Any special items listed on your letter
    • WorkCover claim number (if relevant)
    • Snacks, a drink or money to buy refreshments
    • Something to read or do while you wait
