Metro North has awarded 10 Australia Day awards for excellence today.

Chief Executive Ken Whelan said the awards recognise eight individuals and two teams who embody Metro North’s values of respect, teamwork, compassion, high performance and integrity in order to deliver high quality care.

For excellence in improving mental health care from the collective wisdom of consumers and carers for the consumers, carers and families that use our service.

Gillian Nasato, Chair RBWH Clinical Council
