Metro North Chief Executive appointed

Chief Executive Shaun Drummond

The Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, the Hon Cameron Dick MP, has approved the recommendation by the Metro North Hospital and Health Service Board that Mr Shaun Drummond be appointed Chief Executive of MNHHS.

Board Chair Dr Robert Stable AM said Mr Drummond is well known following his service as Executive Director Operations and, more recently, the Acting Chief Executive.

“The Appointment Panel was impressed with the quality of the shortlisted applicants but felt that Mr Drummond’s understanding of the health system and the challenges that it faces, especially as a Hospital and Health Service and across the breadth of the HHS, was superior to the other interviewees,” Dr Stable said.

Dr Stable invited staff, patients and partners to join the Board in congratulating Mr Drummond on his appointment.
