Metro North is committed to enhancing sustainable research capacity through the provision of infrastructure and resources that support high quality research management.
Statistical support
Metro North has partnered with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research Berghofer (QIMRB) Statistics Unit to provide a statistical consultancy and support service for Metro North staff. The service can assist with statistical design, analysis and interpretation of research protocols and findings.
Ethics and Governance Clinic
After developing a research protocol and developing an application for ethics and governance approval, it is possible to still have questions or complex situations where advice is needed. Metro North Office of Research runs weekly ethics and governance clinics to provide advice on the ethics and governance requirements of research projects.
